in my opinion, yes. pero syempre iba ang M/Ts especially if its gonna rain.

i heard that in lahar material, a tire with less aggressive pattern is best because it is loose sand.

so, A/Ts are also good to use.

kung ikaw naka H/T, ako naman naka M/T with aggressive pattern. prone to digging ako, kaya dapat hinay daw sa acceleration and dont make sudden moves.

Basta umaandar yan at walang problema oks na yan! Bring food water and extra set of clothes. Don't forget your reserve tire and some basic tools. Be sure to check the necessary fluids. Disconnect any electrical wirings that are not needed and sensitive to water splashes. I'm pretty sure that the other more advanced people will bring their recovery gear.
