With the Alphard, there are aftermarket suspensions available in Japan. I imagine you could fit any big brake kit meant for the Camry up front, as well.

Engine mods, I'd probably leave at an oil cooler, additional transmission cooler and a free-breathing exhaust. If budget permits, a supercharger kit would be a nice addition.
