August 11th, 2003 11:38 PM #36offroading - off the road, classified running on dirt, sand, rocks anything other than pavement or paved roads.
so it qualifies them under offroading (dirt road) yun nga lang hindi extreme conditions.
just my two centavos. peace!

But now it raises the question as to what a road is...
In some parts of the country, any artificially flattened terrain meant for transport is called a road. Be it dirt or concrete.

August 12th, 2003 12:24 AM #38Yes but for some people a road is paved. Thats why theres off road and extreme off road. This concept of off road is very misleading and confusing. Dapat gawing dalawa. Off pavement (term actually exists) and off road.

Off-pavement is the more polically correct term used sa States.
Kasi the term 'off-road' does not sound well in the ears of the Sierra Club and other 'tree-hugger' groups.
