mga kapatid! we've done it again! we just won the Super Lap Battle 2010 Limited FWD class * Buttonwillow Raceway last Nov. 10 2010. it was our 2nd straight winning streak with our INSANE 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. we ran a quick 1:55.375 setting a new class record for the Limited Front Wheel Drive class. a huge accomplishment by KBR Performance, FX Motorsports Development, AMB Aero Design & NITTO Tires in which we pretty much "re-built" the whole entire car from the ground up. adding new aero, suspension and upgraded MOTEC engine management system in less than 4 weeks. with no extra time to complete and fine tune the car, we only ran 350-400 whp on very low boost due to a wastegate spring failure. we normally run 680 whp on our previous races last year but with not much dyno time and actual time to prep the car, we just did our best to get the car running and try to complete a good lap. thankfully, our big weight reduction, suspension dialed in 110% and with almost perfect aero package, we manage to run a fast lap w/ only half the horsepower.

with so little time and budget, our graphics guy didnt even make it in time to put any sponsor decals on the car! the car was also re-painted in white only 2 days before the event. talkin about not having enough time to be 100% ready.

other than that, we are still very happy that we came in top position. much props again to my crew at KBR Performance and our new friends and partners for our Time Attack race program, FX Motorsports Development, and our long time sponsor, NITTO Tires, Collmer Customs, AMB Aero Designs and TEM Machine Shop.

    salamat at mabuhay ang pinoy!

    aite, peace.

also, For an example as to how fast our car is, here are a few documented buttonwillow track times from other sport cars:

    Porsche 997 GT2 = 1:59.70 * 530hp / 1440kg
    Noble M400 = 2:00.40 *425hp / 960kg
    Chevrolet Corvette Z06 = 2:01.00 *513hp / 1437kg
    Porsche 997 GT3 = 2:01.50 *415hp / 1395kg

    The fraction numbers represent hp/kg

all times are documented by Car and Driver magazine.

our car ran 1:55.375 at only 350-400 whp / 1850kg
