LONDON (Reuters) -- Briton Justin Wilson will replace Brazilian driver Antonio Pizzonia at Jaguar from next week's German Grand Prix, Jaguar said Monday.

Wilson, who celebrates his 25th birthday next week, made his grand prix debut with Minardi this season after winning the Formula 3000 title in 2001.

"Agreement has been reached with Minardi to allow Justin Wilson to complete the 2003 season with Jaguar Racing," a statement said.

"This is an agreement for the remainder of the 2003 season only, with options for future years that provide Jaguar Racing with additional choices for 2004."

Pizzonia, 22, is also a rookie and has had a torrid time at the Ford-owned team who tried to replace him as far back as April with McLaren's Austrian test driver Alexander Wurz.

The Brazilian has been regularly outperformed by Australian Mark Webber at Jaguar and failed to finish Sunday's British Grand Prix.

He is one of three drivers, including Wilson, who has yet to score a point this year.

"Antonio Pizzonia has not been able to realize his potential with the team over the past 11 races," said Jaguar.

"Jaguar Racing therefore has decided that it is neither in his best interests, nor in the team's, for Antonio to continue driving as full time race driver at this time.

"In an effort to continue supporting Antonio's development, Jaguar Racing has offered him the opportunity to remain with the team as reserve and test driver."

Wilson's arrival at Jaguar will be a boost for those who have invested money in shares in the Briton through an innovative scheme to fund his drive at Minardi. He is likely to receive a salary at Jaguar.

Minardi use Ford's Cosworth engines and Jaguar's lineup will now consist of two former Minardi drivers. Webber gave the struggling team their best result in years with his stirring fifth place in his home Australian grand prix in 2002.

Minardi is expected to replace Wilson with Danish driver Nicolas Kiesa, currently in Formula 3000

    Supot kasi si Pizzonia e.

Excited ako for wilson. 60 overtaking maneuvers in the first 10 races!!! once (don't remember which race) he started in 20th and was up to 9th by the end of the first lap. Pano pa kaya kung maka-start siya sa top 10 in a race driving for Jaguar? :D

Ongah! Galing ni Justin Wilson! He did it not only once but twice or thrice. Siguro matangkad siya kita nya ang full view ng frontal portion ng oto nya hehe.

Whenever wilson pulls that kind of stunt we always hear Slater say " JUSTIN WILSON HAS DONE IT AGAIN!"

Kimi Raikonen cant even move from 20th to 9th place in an instant. Alala ko lang kimi started from last along with wilson pero wilson managed to get to 10th place. (cant remember kung saan race)
