Aaaaand Hamilton wins.
Looking on the bright side, at least Vettel finished the race. 0.675 seconds between them, while the gap between Vettel and Alonso was over 39 seconds.
Brazil will be exciting indeed.

Congrats to Hamilton. McLaren always proved to be best on harder tyre.
Excellent run by Alonso. Stupid Webber's car conked out again.
This will be a battle to the death comes Brazil. A brilliant season indeed!

Brazil 2012 is the same scenario as 2008. Massa must win the race to be crowned WC, and Lewis must not finish higher than 5th place.
Vettel heads to Brazil knowing that even if Alonso wins he still needs to finish only fourth to be champion. Alonso for his part knows that even if Vettel fails to finish he still needs to be third to overhaul his rival's total.

Yup, anything can happen in Brazil...
In the recent past,- FM lost the opportunity to win the WDC vs. LH. LH overtook TG in the last corner securing his first WDC... The sudden downpour changed the complexion of the endgame... (FM should have readily won the WDC that year, were it not for his car, suddenly stopping in the penultimate lap in Hungaroring; and his pitstop brouhaha in Singapore- both Ferrari's fault)
A year earlier,- LH lost the WDC to KR.... Thanks to FA, LH's dear teammate at McLaren, who forced him into a battle in the first corners of the first lap,- with LH "panicking" and allegedly resetting the car....
