Alonso is still trying to be an ass.
"On Sunday, we are still sure that we can score more points than Vettel. I don't know how, but I have this feeling," Alonso said. "Sundays are normally our best part of the weekend."Last edited by CoDer; November 18th, 2012 at 08:57 AM.

This race is SV's to lose not only as a race but his bid for a very good 3rd straight championship. But his chances is indeed promising.

The race is about to start, warmup lap. Much of this race could be decided by the first corner...

RBR 1-2 off the line. Alonso climbs up to 4th, Raikkonen slips to 7th.

The Circuit of the Americas is turning out to be tricky as the fresh track hasn't been forgiving to drivers who miss out on the racing line.

Vettel seems to be having braking issues and this has allowed Hamilton to close in on him, shaving ~0.2 seconds per lap. 1.5 seconds separate the 2 drivers with 12 laps down.

Webber is out! KERS failure that probably led to the brakes failing. Very scary proposition for Red Bull if Vettel gets the same issue.
