Norbert Haug VP of mercedes confirmed to the german press that the mp4-18 will not participate in the next 3 races due to reliability problems. Further, car testing will be banned starting september onwards causing more delay for its debut.
But there is one FINAL private testing available before the Italian GP and the mclaren camp are HOPING the car could make it in Monza if proven reliable.
IF it does not, then its launching date MAY be set in USA. But Haug is confident that the mp4-18 will participate in the 2003 season.
So ano yan?
The only race that we can be sure of its participation is in Japan GP???? :sigh:
