If I have to splurge on a car, I would be more than happy to drive home an ubersedan (M5 or E63 or RS6). These cars offer supercar performance but comfortable enough as a family car. These can be had for around 10M to 15M.

Medyo feelsbadman lang talaga. As Sweetlucious mentioned even if you're swimming in cash still doesn't feel good to pay an additional 10M for no reason other than the fact that the dealer feels someone is going to be willing to pay that premium.

Most car dealers all over the world abide by corporate MSRP, it's mostly confined to the US market (and PGA locally) that markups are accepted practice.

    Disagree on that phrase.

Price is always a factor, kaya nga may grey market.

i love porsches. pero itong 992sc does not appeal to me. siguro nga walang shortage ng buyer para dito malamang tumaas din ang value. but personally di ko type yung wheels. yung ducktail parang off ang proportions it does not hark back to the '72 carrera rs.

as purely a driving tool to be enjoyed instead of this mas gusto ko itsura gt3 touring without the wing or the other way round "regular" turbo s na lang. i think ang lamang ni 992sc ay yung possible "investment" angle lang.

    ..sana may 55m ako.

ang TOYOTA natututo na rin! though may official one price policy ang toyota phils but ini-state din nila categorically they leave it up to their dealer principals on how to distribute their allocation. dun ngayon pumapasok ang mark up in "creative" ways.

Like the Lambo STO, local AD brought one in, and it sat in the showroom for 2-3 weeks.

Unlike grey market dealers, they just made some phone calls, sold agad.

Difference is malaki din, grey units 40ish M, local unit 52-53M.
No logical buyer would pass up on this deal if in the market for such a car.

Pero totoo ba na porsche are really more reliable than say BMW and Merc na sinasabi na masakit sa ulo maintenance? Or is it really just BMW ang madami problema?

I dont think a Porsche is more reliable

Perhaps its used far less. A lot of Mercs and BMW accumulate high mileage

Whereas Porsches are usually garage queens

If i had the money AND the means to regenerate that money...hell yes i would buy one or more.

    The 911 Dakar

    The 911 Targa

    An aircooled 911

The 911 Turbo 4s to scare myself shatless

    Hell id start a collection.

Unfortunately i only meet 1 / 2 of my criteria so no porsche for me.

Porsches. Would you consider one?
