Check the GDP- per capita, its worse for them

There are a lot of reasons why MNCs are not building factories here: high energy cost, labor restrictions, bureaucratic red tape, and a couple more.

The Philippines skipped being a manufacturing economy and went straight to a service based economy.

I doubt any car factory will ever launch here in the short term
