Di ba niya alam na that the Oakwood Incident practically endangered the safety and the lives of innocent civilians especially foreigners in the hotel? What would stop disgruntled soldiers from doing the same thing in the future kung walang kaparusahan.

PNoy is not saying Trillanes is not guilty. He's just opining that the charge for "coup d'etat" does not conform with the "definition". Coup charge is non-bailable while probably the "correct" charge might be bailable.

According to Mr. Aquino, “Trillanes was first incarcerated by virtue of the charge of participating in a coup. However, if you review the Revised Penal Code, there is a provision that says how a coup is committed, it says if there is swift, violent attack. Then there’s an enumeration. The numeration does not include a hotel.”

And P.Noy is suggesting that isn't Magdalo's goal. Magdalo just wanted to express their grievances against the existing goverment. And they happen to pick a Luxury Service Apartment and later a Five-Star Hotel to explain themselves. Sabi ni P.Noy, di naman daw kasali mga ganun na venue para mag conduct ng coup. Wala naman daw proof na coup kasi di naman nag-suceed...
