Exactly; I think you just answered your own question. "Take a hint, folks. Show's over. Nothing more to see here. Move along, move along."

    it's different this time.

    magkakagulo talaga.

the opposition has no clear leader.

Di tulad sa EDSA 1 where Cory is clearly the leader.

And sa EDSA 2 where kahit papano nasunod ang constitution at VP ang naging presidente...

Now, malabo si Noli ang gagawing presidente...

And the opposition has too many egos, too many people thinking they are "presidentiables"

will anyone of them allow another to become president?

    away away yan.

    tingin ko ganito:

makati - it's the country's financial district. so kung magkagulo dito, malaking hit sa economy. plus, it's urban surrounding is perfect for hiding and gaining the 'upper ground'-like what gringo did and almost succeeded. it's also near fort bonifacio and south luzon expressway where the soldiers usually come from. and perhaps its mayor always allows it (tsismis lang hehe)

white plains/edsa - it's where camp aguinaldo and crame are located. the headquarters of both the afp and police. if you get hold of these bases, it's like sending a signal to all soldiers that you have control of the military and police. plus, you get a supply of arms and ammo to last you for a while.-like what gringo did and almost succeeded also.

malacanang (why not?) - it's deep within manila. any huge troop movement will be easily noticed from the outskirts. so madaling ma-alert ang PSG. at kung diderecho ka dun, it would simply look like a plain murder attempt. dapat ala people power 1. find a 'defendable' location and wait for public support to arrive.-like what trillanes hoped for but never came close to succeeding hehe.

other favorite locations are utilities and tv stations.

back to topic, i don't think people will be convinced of a change in leadership if the proponents who want a 'clean and honest government' consist of a convicted plunderer, a corrupt witness and a bishop with a ***ual harassment case.

Oo nga; nung EDSA 1 kasi, Doy Laurel was also running for the presidency against Marcos, but he stepped aside so that Cory would win.

Ngayon, every member of the opposition wants a piece of the action. Even Erap is reneging on the conditions of his pardon because he badly wants to get the presidency back.

The opposition just looks united now coz they have a common goal --- to remove GMA.

After GMA is removed, kanya kanya na yan.

Everyone in the oppostion is playing trip-to-jerusalem against each other... and there's only 1 chair.

Knowing pinoy pride, nobody is gonna give way.

Assuming GMA is removed, it will all come down to who the military supports.

    E ang dami nila.

How the hell will the generals decide who to support?

will the chain of command be followed?

What if Trillanes and company support someone,

    and the generals supports another?

    Barilan yan dudes.

    Di ako maka-GMA.

Pero mas masama ang pde mangyari pag natanggal si GMA.

this time it wont be a 1 day power transfer.

    it's gonna get ugly.

This is a quote from Radioactive Sago Project's Lourd de Veyra, originally said in reference to Trillanes and the Manila Pen siege:

“I think he lost his nerve. It would have been better if he went all the way. The problem is, people don't get that to have a revolution happen, there has to be bloodshed. That's the consequence of a revolution―bloodshed. Mao Zedong said so himself … a revolution is not a picnic. We've had bloodless ‘revolutions' the past few decades and look, nothing's happened.”

For me,I think the best possible way to minimize bloodshed, chaos and in order not to weaken our democratic system is for our idealistic soldiers to assasinate the president, with this, maybe only the president's blood will be shed, and the vice president will automatically be the next president, and all the bishops will be united again, and we will be hearing mass for the eternal repose of the president's soul

    haha ok yan

thing is, the opposition dont want VP Noli coz he is still a GMA ally.

so the soldiers also have to take out Noli.

Kung masusunod ang constitution, sino next in line?

    Senate president ba?

Sino pala senate president natin? Si Villar ba? di ko sure e.

Ok na ba para sa opposition na si Villar ang presidente?

In a power vacuum caused by a coup, it has been mentioned that the fragmented opposition will fight for power. Is this one way to actually reduce the number of politicians we have. At least the undesirable ones since there would be attrition?

How will ABS CBN cover the carnage?

Ya that's one way to reduce the number of politicians hehe

And it's also one way to find out who really is the apex predator of the opposition... kung sino pinaka siga.

ABSCBN will send reporters all over the place...

To cover GMA, opposition leaders, the streets, rebel soldiers, Jun Lozada...

    And when bullets start flying...

ABSCBN reporters will be part of the carnage.

What would you do if they launched a coup?
