I dont have any first hand experience sa martial law but in my opinion, it is all about control. There are pros and cons with dictatorship. Well, it all boils down to those who benefited and those who were oppressed.

Truthfully, naawa ako on our countrymen with regards that they're the one at the short end of the staw. Much more powerful than you think.

Another case I'm following is the prominent Richard King slaying in Davao. Take note this is well-developed city but killings still continue under impunity. Sure, we have scrapegoats.. like those who is actually did the killing.. but on whether the true mastermind will be caught, that I'm skeptical. Buti nalang this is a high-profile case that involves a prominent businessman.. but what if you're the typical blue collar worker? Remember the gunman who shot a mayor's family upon arrival at NAIA? How's the progress there? I believe it's naive to think that nobody's impeding that case.

Seriously? It was this corruption that Marcos started that made everyone wanted a piece of the pie. Kung naging mabuting presidente si Marcos naglatag sana siya ng foundation para maging tapat lahat ng tao sa gobyerno para yung mga susunod na leaders may gagayahing maganda.
Kung anu-ano pang pinagsasabi ninyong I'd take centralized over decentralized... ta*g ina t*nga. Magisip nga kayo. Hindi sana tayo ganito kung hindi sistematikong magnanakaw at mangangamkam si Marcos at mga alaga niya.

Yes its Law and order. His Law and his order. Which made the people very afraid of doing something stupid. Whatever he did immoral, justifies it. He was very logical and efficient at it.

What he did is efficien, effifient corruption. Logical? it was maniacal not logical. And it is failed law and no order. People are afraid to do things he didn't like. Curfew, siya lang may gawa nun para mapagawa nga martial law.

Yung pasabog sa quiapo at pag-assasinate kuno kay enrile, pakana nila yun para maka-declare nang martial law. Martial law is a veil to his intention to remain in power at all cost. Bulag na bata ito.
