yung sinasabi nilang "di bale ng may utang basta meron infrastructure" which is hindi naman talaga sa ganung pang-unawa. Sabi ng isang forumer, it's a chicken and egg scenario.

So, it is sensible to just utilize them.

The Aquino family knows actually who's the mastermind of Ninoy's assassination. They make used of this big LIE to have the sympathy of the 2% population. Anyway, this should be a different topic to debate with.

when marcos started to institutionalise corruption, that's where our problems started.
+2 problem is yung highway at dams na ginawa ay my "tongpats" at "kickback" ang mga pulitiko. Worse, substandard pa ito. To aggravate the situation, yung contractor pa is kamag anak pa ng pulitiko.. Wala na talaga pag asa...

Sub-standard pala yung mga dams na sinasabi ng mga govt experts na due for replacement na dahil they already passed their design service life. At sub-standard din pala yung mga tulay na giniba nalang dahil they outlived their designed.

As if nung martial law naimbento na madaling pagka kitaan ng mga LGU ang taunang pagsira at pag-semento ng daan.
As if hindi isa ang mga Oreta-Aquino sa biggest baggers of government contracts ng road construction after martial law.
As if... .... (too many to mention, too little popcorn)

Besides, we also need to take account that it isn't all about currency valuation or devaluations. Unlike in today's economy where we're hugely import driven, we actually had a lot of exports back then when our manufacturing and agriculture sector were still kicking ass.

Remember Spain and Greece have manufacturing sectors and yet they are in deep sh*t right now.

It just shows that Macoy's grandeur plan is not built on sustainable political and economic principles.
