    Can somebody care to explain why the cross at the background was inverted? I find it disrespectful to invert the cross which to many of us consider it as sacred. It's confusing...

    For a catholic who doesn't know History and allows his emotions to rule,

    The inverted cross is the symbol of St. Peter.

    A little history on St Peter.

    Peter asked that his cross be inverted so as not to imitate his mentor, Christ, hence he is depicted upside-down.
