mga dept store... they're a major casualty of online shopping

i mean kahit na reopened na mga mall i don't think people will be buying stuff again in dept stores like before

many people who weren't into online shopping before the pandemic were forced into it and it has became a habit

(science-backed studies show that habits form in 21 days and can become permanent in 66 to 90 days depending on which study you refer to)

the lockdowns are long enough to make habits permanent

How about grocery or supermarkets are we now leaning towards online? But right now still many go to grocery stores.

Is it mandatory to give half? im not sure but I think it depends on how generous the company is with the current state we are in.

i think standalone grocery stores/supermarkets are here to stay since they remained open during lockdown

    Malls are in trouble

Ok ung mga malaking supermarket like puregold QI that have practically everything (clothes, appliances, furniture, etc)

they're an oasis during lockdown coz halos lahat ng kailangan ng tao available under 1 roof

so kahit nag reopen na mga mall nasanay na mga tao sa mga malaking supermarket baka di na masyado mag mall

pero meron mga supermarket operator may plans to go "dark"

meaning they won't be visible they'll operate like a warehouse -- for online deliveries only

My business is starting to feel the downward turn of the spending power of the masses. I supply the public markets and groceries. Wala na gaanong tao sa mga palengke. Malaki na binaba ng purchases ng mga groceries.
