    P21.4B long term loans: Tan Caktiong flirts with possible default if creditors didn’t relax, waive Jollibee’s debt covenants – Bilyonaryo


    Jollibee has 19 long-term loans worth a total of P21.394 billion and payable from 2020 to 2026:

    * 8 loans worth P13.016 by the parent company

    *Three loans worth a total of P5.185 billion for US subsidiaries

    *Three loans worth P2.1 billion for local subsidiaries

    *5 loans worth P1.05 billion for its Vietnam operations

    Ung com'l unit namin walang kita since March kasi umuwi muna sa province ung renter, nandun kasi family niya. Buti na lang ung condo unit namin nagbabayad pa rin ung renter, at least covered na monthly amortization sa bangko.

    PNB earnings fall 97.5% in Q2 on higher loan provisions – Bilyonaryo
    The Lucio Tan-led bank earmarked P5.1 billion to cover a possible rise in loan losses in April to June.

    This brings the bank’s total provisions to date to P8.4 billion.

    After provisions, PNB’s net income for the first half amounted to P1.4 billion, down from almost P4 billion last year.

    But banks will bend backwards for big corporations kesa sa mag default sila.

    They will be accommodated ang kawawa yun mga ordinary creditors. Wala patawad diyan banko.
