High unemployment, little consumer spending, high rate of store closure, companies holding off investment because of lack of business activity... if these last more than months, it becomes a depression...

It means dutiti govt doesn't own up their mistakes and responsibility.

Lagi sinasabi eh hinde lang tayo ang ganyan buong mundo which is correct pero it's time to lay down their plans for recovery. Kaso puro buong mundo ya ayon kahit mayaman na country.

    Deflecting the issue.

Crush just told me that they had to let go of an entire DEPARTMENT. Wow, so nauna lang pala company namin. It's a tough job to deliver the news pero samin ganyan din the head of our division ang nakikipag usap sa employees.

My BFF who was an expat returned to Manila last week and she told me that she is also nanganganib of losing her job. Why? Because before the china virus, our company had a natural 10% attrition rate, but now NOBODY is resigning (except me LOL) so now they have to let go of 10% of employees.

I wonder how many more job cuts in the following months

Their GDP drop in not as bad as the PH... considering their covid response was even slower and later than the PH
