The Philippine government was supposed to magically conjure those stimulus funds sir. Is that too much to expect? Sheesh!
One thing is clear -- this economic recession can be entirely attributed to Duterte's incompetence.

Can you share an article that says Vietnam will avail of external loan to fund covid expenses?

If only the admin closed off all our borders early when local medical people advised them to, we probably would be closer in outcome to Vietnam. But no, malinis daw yung mga POGO na yun. Now look at this gargantuan mess.

Vietnam in talks to borrow $1 billion as budget deficit seen widening - Reuters

They are thinking about it. Can't tax people if they're not earning much. Short term loan would be ideal indeed given the fact that like us, developing country pa din lang Vietnam.

Though I am curious as why we need so much loan if the government can't even divulge where the money has gone. There is a think tank that made an assumed computation diba at ang dami pa available funds as per their report.

Dami din kasi help from the private sectors eh kaya yung expenses for the frontliners I am sure eh hindi needed full budget because of for example, donations of facemasks, face shield and improvised PPE's, food and water and surgical gloves etc.

Maybe they need to list covid19 as a terror threat to get prioritized.
