    Sad news, for basketball fans in the Philippines.

    NBA stores across the Philippines will close in waves this month, it announced on social media.

    It will first close SM Megamall on August 12, followed by Ayala Cebu on August 15.

    Finally, the NBA Store in Trinoma and its e-commerce website will shut down on August 30.

    According to NBA Philippines, the shut down is “due to the conclusion of our agreement with our retail operator.”

    The Glorietta branch earlier closed in July. Last year, the NBA Cafe in SM Aura closed. — LA, GMA News
