what do you guys think of the PBA partylist? it's supposed to be a sectoral representative of our athletes. i mean being an avid "athlete"/ weekend warrior, i'd like to see those guys who represent our country in the athletic field to have a say in their endeavors. iyon nga lang si manny p. ang main man nila
dapat kasi wala na yang partylist partylist na yan. redundancy na lang iyan tsaka karamihan naman ng mga partylist group peke katulad nung mga nasa list na yun. yung iba pa diyan may links sa komunista. i will not vote for those groups. imagine pera ng bayan mapupunta sa npa.

the way i see it we have two options:don't vote for any group or pick the one that has something new to offer. honestly for me, PBA Partylist is a good choice in that sense. wala namang kongresista pa na talagang lumalaban para sa sports development at suporta sa mga atleta. para sa magsasaka marami na. well represented na sila sa congress. so i might consider PBA.

As ar as I know Manny Pacquiao is just the titular head. Hindi siya among the nominees ng PBA Partylist.

Puwede rin consider siguro yung Agham partylist. para naman sa science yun.

I think the intent of the Party List system as enshrined in our Constitution is good... ang sablay lang talaga is yung immaturity ng ating political system and political players...

the fact that Mikey is the nominee ng mga security guards doesn't erase the fact that security guards, altho marami sila, are one of the most abused in society (low pay, almost no benefits, long work hours, lack of insurance, etc)... sana may data kung ilan talaga ang active security guards versus total population natin, or total male population between a certain age.... makita natin kung gano sila ka konti o karami...

the angle that Mikey is the nominee... i suppose, parang abogado lang yan.. you don't necessarily have to be one of them, you can just represent their interests and represent them... i think walang masama dun... in the same way na Teddy Casino represents Bayan Muna (and in a way their other allied groups like Gabriela, Anak Pawis, etc)... sa tono ng cause nila para sa mahirap o naaapi, and yet sya mismo (basing on another thread here na nabanggit sya.. ) hindi naman talaga sya part ng grupo na nire represent nya...

yun nga lang mas swabe ang pagkakagawa ni Ted dun... but it's substantially the same... so sa ganung scenario, pareho lang sila making a mockery of the substance and essence of the partylist system...

good thing ABC and AHON is not one of it
since this is the only 2 Party List im eyeing on voting for

im just wondering there are almost 100+ selection of Party List on the Ballot form and there is only one to vote for
COMELEC should even have at least filtered the Party List selection by minimizing the nominees for let say around 10 or 20 candidates only
