Palace: Freebies for Pagcor OK | Inquirer News
Feb 22,2012
Malacañang on Tuesday said there was nothing wrong with Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) Chairman Cristino Naguiat accepting free accommodations and gifts from the Wynn chain of casino hotels as this was “an industry practice and saves expenses for the government.”
According to presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, Naguiat did not personally profit from the freebies.
In a press briefing, Lacierda said President Benigno Aquino III had accepted Naguiat’s explanation on the matter which was revealed in a dispute between Wynn Resorts Ltd. chief executive Steve Wynn and Japanese gambling tycoon Kazuo Okada.

I think when he hold the retaliation pati ako hinde in favor sa decision niya but hinde naman ako naging rabid na post ng post ng hate thread.
Come to think of it, wala naman mangyayari Sa mga thread mo eh kung galit ka talaga why not organize a coup or impeachment dahil 4 yrs pa term niya don't tell me for the next 4 Years ganyan na lang gagawin mo?

*tomcat... este... tomboy: How you love to twist the truth to suit you.
PNoy already ordered an investigation into the issue a day before you posted your thread, but you forgot to mention that. Oops.
PNoy Orders Naguiat Probe | The Manila Bulletin Newspaper Online
And? At least he said he'd investigate.
As opposed to PGMA, whose husband got many free trips and tickets to hotels and casinos around the world, along with his PAGCOR buddies.
Hello, hindi ba obvious na laging nasa Las Vegas ang mga ito pag may fight si Manny?

Again, this is more a matter of corporate warfare, with Naguiat caught in the middle. Wynn is attempting a hostile takeover of shares from his ex-partner Okada.
Battle Of Manila II: Caught In The Okada-Wynn Crossfire | The Manila Bulletin Newspaper Online
Last month, Okada sued Wynn for denying him access to the company’s financial records relating to a $135 million cash donation made to the University of Macau. Okada deemed the donation an “inappropriate use of corporate funds” and thus held Steve Wynn accountable.
For his part, Wynn accused Okada of engaging in “improper activities” or making cash and gift bribes totaling $110,000 to gambling regulators, including those from Pagcor. Facts were twisted, turned and taken out of context to substantiate Wynn’s accusations. Based on these allegations and keen corporate maneuvering, Wynn managed to strip Okada of his vice chairmanship and acquire his 20 percent stake in Wynn Resorts Ltd. at bargain price.
As this goes to press, news has broken that Okada has also been ousted from the board of Wynn Macau.
Oh, but it was the FBI who investigated, right?
Wynn engaged the services of former FBI director Louis Freeh to investigate Okada’s activities over a three-year period. Contrary to reports that this was a federal investigation, Mr. Freeh was actually acting on his own private capacity.Wynn engaged the services of former FBI director Louis Freeh to investigate Okada’s activities over a three-year period. We’ve all read what the international press had to say about Naguiat and Pagcor. What didn’t get printed was that the Pagcor Chief never denied visiting Las Vegas in September 2010 upon the invitation of Okada. It was in fact a working visit where both executives ironed out Okada’s multi-billion dollar investment in the country. Naguiat also used the visit as an opportunity to meet other potential investors from Las Vegas’ casino operators.
His hotel stay was given with Okada’s compliments, as it should be. It is, after all, common business courtesy for any host to answer for the accommodations of their guests. Not doing so would be “inappropriate”, especially in the world of gaming and hospitality. Given the fact that Wynn has probably entertained foreign guests, with compliments, hundreds of times over the years, the incident was clearly given a malicious slant by Wynn’s PR machine.
As for the Chanel bag... Footnotes and fine print on both the news feeds and Freeh’s official report confirm that the bag was indeed returned. End of issue.

This is why nobody believes you. Your unthinking hatred of PNoy and everyone around him blinds you to the real issue here: It's not about bribery (though there's no doubt it really does occur with the PAGCOR), it's about corporate warfare. We're just pawns in Okada's and Wynn's little game. And if Wynn succeeds in shutting out Okada, say goodbye to the Manila Bay project.Last edited by niky; February 27th, 2012 at 01:08 PM.

It could be worse ika nga.
Relax ka lang wag ka negative. Ang hirap ng inaanticipate agad yung negatibo.. Saka na mag react kung may talagang dapat pag reactan...Hirap niyan bitter araw araw, parang yung mga nagrarally mayat maya, puro reklamo, di tuloy umaasenso..tsk tsk
