Quite frankly you don't know what the you're talking about. Do you actually know the purpose of those oversight and investigative committees?? Doon siya bumawi? Anong point ng gagawin niya dun if it does not translate into a law precisely to correct the problems that were seen in those committees. It is basic in separation of powers that the PRIMARY duty of a legislator is to LEGISLATE. Its not myopic. In simple terms, all those activities of the so called committees and investigations are useless exercises if they do not translate into law which will correct those problems.

Bakit? Akala mo ba yung ibang presidente hindi nagnakaw and walang corruption? In all respects to Cory, may mga cronies din siya nung panahon niya. So I really don't buy the honesty and integrity crap. Tingnan mo kaya ibang countries specially the 1st world ones, do you think walang corruption dun? There sure is. The only difference is that ang corruption sa kanila top level lang. Dito ultimo clerk at mga bantay, nangungurakot. So no "clean" but incompetent president can change things specially if he does not have the will to do it. Do you actually think Noynoy can at the very least lessen corruption? Get real. It does not start with the president. It starts with every single citizen of the country.

Kaya nga may mga house bills and resolutions na nafile as a result of the investigations. Noynoy is not promising complete eradication of corruption. He is promising to curtail corruption at the very office of the president as a starting point. You are correct that it is the responsibility of each one of us to curtail or curb corruption but the most effective would be the one who wields the power. Kung matino ang namamalakad, magiging matino ang sumusunod. Itanong mo na lang kung kasing rampant ang corruption nung panahon ni Marcos at Cory, compared mo kay Gloria. The latter, because of her extreme intelligence and being a genius, has made a science out of corruption. To me, Noynoy is the best alternative. Malinis at mapagkumbaba!
