January 5th, 2016 10:38 PM #183everyone's goal should be to drastically reduce dependence on middle east oil or any oil for that matter. less humans. more solar panels. this is actually feasible
we really don't have 600 years for islam to have a reformation i.e. for islam to "grow up". right now it's acting like a homicidal teenager. so it's EVERYONE'S interest to kick out these ridiculous religions and to finally embrace reason. this is feasible too

January 7th, 2016 08:48 AM #188when did this interview take place? assad is intelligent and highly educated. soft spoken, almost stoic, and not some war freak despot. impressive.
but it was made to appear that he just inherited syria from his father, and that his ascension to the presidency was anomalous to say the least-- the election was rigged, only a fraction of the population had voted, and marred with violence.

^depends who you ask. there were international observers during their recent election who said it was legitimate despite being in the middle of a war.
not sure how the rest would vote when they've either been killed, too scared to leave their homes, or have fled to europe.
and having a fraction of the population vote doesn't necessarily say much about his legitimacy. voter turnout was around 70% compared that to US which sits around 50-60%.Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

It's not a democracy if your elected leader doesn't love America.

Which states that they have caught the suspects, who are African.
Oslo crime is on the rise not because Muslims outnumber everyone else there (which they don't, at just 2.5% of the population), but because foreign criminals aren't afraid of Norwegian prisons, which are some of the nicest in the world.Last edited by niky; January 7th, 2016 at 02:25 PM.
