Makati government still pays it's employees in cash.

But yes, the big ish really is that Makati is the premier business district (thanks to the Ayalas and other conglomerates... and not because if the mayor or his family) and yet, they still cannot implement a simple procedure of automating it's salary methods. The reasons are quite obvious...

Contractual employees (now known as Non-Government Worker) get their pay in cash or sometimes check.

Im have a permanent appointment. But then, everyone here in my central luzon lgu is paid in cash. Maybe the makati system is a bit different unless it imagines itself as still a small municipality...

ang kagandahan lang kasi sa cash, makukuha mo agad ang pera mo.
hindi mo na kailangan pumila ng mahaba sa atm tapos pagdating sayo wala ng pera.
at makukuha mo ng buo.
unlike sa atm hindi mo na makukuha yung butal.
