I think this is the CJ's endgame:
1. Do not go back to the Impeachment Court for his cross-examination on account of illness.
2. Impeachment Court doesn't wait for CJ's recuperation, strikes out CJ's testimony, or retains it as part of the record but with no probative value.
3. Impeachment Court proceeds to decide. Conviction by 2/3 likely.
4. CJ runs to the SC claiming that the Impeachment Court had exercised grave abuse of discretion tantamount to lack of jurisdiction, asking to overturn conviction.
5. SC overturns the judgment of the Impeachment Court (gulo ito kung sakali).Last edited by Altis6453; May 23rd, 2012 at 03:27 PM.

anong friday? may report na nga, na sa monday daw baka sumipot si corona sa senate, as advised by his doctors.
yan na di ba yung delaying tactics. then pag dating ng monday, di pa pwede, di pa naya kaya, aabot ng weeks, months, forever.
sa tingin nyo ba, magpapa-cross examine pa yan?
