March 15th, 2012 12:45 PM #2431Surely, somebody from the ranks wrote Corona's profile and could have deliberately hyped his accolades (a few twisted facts here and there wouldn't hurt the CJ's image) and hoped it would easily passed unnoticed. Unfortunately for Corona, Pnoy doesn't like his skin, thus the impeachment brouhaha and everything goes public. I bet Corona read his eulogy and gave his approval. By and large, there is this thing called command responsibility, and so the axe goes back to his highness at the end of the day.
Madidiscredit na naman lalo ang na-Coronahang CJ as mere puppet ni GMA. Betrayal of public trust once again...

March 15th, 2012 06:46 PM #2440Don't really see the point of the prosecution - I really doubt that many public officials are actually using the current market value in their SALN declaration. You're not going to go to the market and try to get your property assessed each and every time na you file. Gusto ko tuloy makita yung SALN nung mga congressmen, para makita kung anong basis nung fair market value yung nilagay nila
