    Talk with your local representative or send a letter to the senators to have them change the law, so people in government don't get all of these allowances and per diems

    sa mga ganoong "tax exempt" benefits... I think, pupuwedeng questionin yan.. although ang question dapat dyan, either BIR, or say, Congress... but since the 3 branches "respect" each other... need a precedent siguro for that to happen..

    sa pagkaka alam ko.. tax exemptions should be explicitly mentioned in law... so.. depende kung saan o alin ang basehan ng mga nabanggit na mga allowances na yung ng Judiciary... maaari may basis na tax exempt yun.. pero kung talagang walang explicit exemption provided for by law... questionable nga...

    not sure if a law somewhere provides a distinction between passive income and active income...

    pero.. kung all income inclusive.. nararapat lang na malaki ang pay / salary... di naman siguro masama kung malaki ang income ng judge, gayong bawal sya mag karoon ng ibang negosyo / income source...

    also wondering.. while there is a provision for divesting sa ibang executive positions (President, VP, etc)... di ko sure kung divesting lang ng assets.. or pati income sources dapat i divest... sa Executive din dapat ganoon.. pero ganoon din ba ang nangyayari? sa Congress... dapat full time congressman din sila... ganoon din ba ang nangyayari??
