Something about what CJ Corona said about the money deposited to his PSBank Accout bothers me.

He came out saying that this was the money of his wife as administrator of the residual assets of Basa Guidote Enterprises.

The stockholders of said company have been locked in litigation "for over 30 years", according to Corona. If that is the case, why would a sitting justice of the Supreme Court, more importantly, the Chief Justice, allow the commingling of company funds with his ---- especially if the ownership of the company and assets are under litigation?

Isn't it quite improper for a judge or justice to have monies under litigation deposited to his bank account? What if the case happens to land in the Supreme Court on appeal and (in the unlikely turn of events), the other party had won the case? They would never see a centavo of that money precisely because it is now in the bank account of the Chief Justice and no longer in a bank account under the name of BG Enterprises or a duly appointed receiver for the company, in trust for its stockholders. So, no writ of execution will ever recover those monies because the CJ is not a party to the case --- so his bank account will not be subject to execution, right?

Was this an elaborate scheme of Mrs. Corona to defeat her opponents' claims to BG Enterprises' monies?

    Good luck explaining that.

    What if nga?

MANILA, Philippines – Just a few days before the resumption of the impeachment trial against Chief Justice Renato Corona, President Aquino is confident of a conviction. In fact, the chief executive told InterAksyon.com, he finds it "hard to imagine" how else the process can conclude.

Kung kelan walang senate impeachment trial doon nakakamatch ang prosecution team gamit ang inquirer.

Pag balik ulit sa senado makikita kung sino talaga gumawa ng homework.

    Indeed!

Add to their trouble is Sister Flory has spoken.

Best of luck to Corona in convincing the public that Sister Flory is telling a lie.

Kaya pala galit si PNoy kay CJ, naiingit dahil may ka-kompetensya sa kanyang nengbeng koleksyon...

Ano pa atang dumi mahukay ng media?

Baka matulad 'to sa 48 so-called CJ properties...

Accused of pointing a gun at a property caretaker during a family dispute in 1997, Chief Justice Renato Corona has owned at least 31 licensed firearms, according to records of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Firearms and Explosives Office.

According to PNP records, the first two of Corona's licensed guns were registered only in late 1997. The .38-caliber and .22-caliber revolvers were registered respectively on Oct. 14, 1997 and Nov. 6, 1997.

The chief magistrate has had a total of 31 firearms under his name since 1997. These include 18 pistols, six revolvers, two machine pistols, two shotguns, one submachinegun, one high-powered rifle, and a carbine. Among these are an Uzi, a Beretta, and a Glock, all leading gun brands.

The licenses of all the firearms have expired except for two: a .380-caliber pistol (Serial No. 374-2900), which expires October 15, 2015; and a 9mm machine pistol (T0624-07V0060978), which expires on October 15, 2014. It was not immediately clear from PNP records if the expired licenses have been renewed or whether ownership has been transferred to other entities.

This is a joke right? Maybe CJ should also declare his shoes, watches, underwear, CD and DVD collection in his SALN... Pero si Llamas and his AK-47, OK lang.

Palace official to Corona: Explain firearms
    March 10, 2012 12:30pm

Malacañang on Saturday urged impeached Chief Justice Renato Corona to explain the wide array of firearms he reportedly owns, especially if he did not declare these as among his assets.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said the firearms should have been included in Corona’s Statements of Assets and Liabilities (SALNs).

PNP records showed Chief Justice Renato Corona has owned at least 31 firearms, including an Uzi and a vintage Winchester popularized by American cowboys in the 19th century. GMA News“Kung substantial ang value (If the value of the firearms is substantial), that has to be declared also in (his) SALN. It is something he will have to answer, if it was unreported asset on top of the bank deposits and the properties brought out in the impeachment trial,” she said on government-run dzRB radio.
