This is how I think what happened. Cong. Teddy Boy Locsin and the rest of the guys think the same in Karambola (DWIZ 882).

BSP audits the banks annually, BSP looks into the accounts and checks the account of the account holder. BSP could have provided details to the AMLC about the existence and values of the accounts they looked into.

How to make copies of signature cards:
    1. Go to the bank of your choice and ask for signature cards as if you were going to open the account.
    2. Fill up the space with details (account numbers, photocopy or forged signatures) provided to you by BSP or AMLC.
    3. Make photocopies of this "doctored" document.
    4. Photocopy again.

    Add ons:
    1. Give photocopies to "small lady" to be sent to your neighborhood congressman
    2. Leave photocopies under the gate of your nearest congressman's house located in an EXCLUSIVE SECURED VILLAGE.

Ang ganda ng kwento. It can never be traced back to BSP.

Add to that Umali and Banal were telling the truth the whole time, hindi talaga nila alam kung saan nangaling yan mga document na yan.

But the kung si Teddy boy ang me sabi nyan eh pwe pwe pwe.

Mas may weight daw ang testimony ng President of PSbank because he was under oath according to the defense. Therefore BSP is lying.

pero kahit papano... they get the masses entertained....

Yeah. It's pretty obvious that even if there is a case that can be built, the prosecution didn't have enough time to build a strong one beforehand. The technicalities are obviously strong enough to destroy the case completely.

Even worse for the prosecution, the whole country can see, via the trial, that if Corona is acquitted, it's all their fault.

    -

The only outcome favorable to this administration is that Corona's reputation is well and truly sullied, and further cases built upon the findings of this trial may prosper against him or his wife... (future prosecutors will know the evidence is there... they just have to find the proper ways to expose it...).

Of course, it is likely no longer possible to carry out an impeachment procedure with the exact same complaint... and Congress may no longer be in the mood to support another one.

Are we doomed to suffer this every single time? To see all the Imeldas slip through the cracks? Is it as Rick Moranis once said: "This is why Evil always triumphs... because Good is dumb."

Justice, ika nga. If you're not going to do it properly, don't :****ing do it at all.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Away yan for sure. But I have a hunch that Enrile will explode on the prosecutions face on article 7 again.
