This is a "for now" decision, I guess. The Senate is showing its complete impartiality.
Besides, the damage to Corona's credibility is already done. The totals of the peso accounts are enough to further the prosecution's case.

JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT
Section 1. The judicial power shall be vested in one Supreme Court and in such lower courts as may be established by law.
