Mahirap maghusga agad. There is a possibility that he also have a family business, and kung may pagkakamali man sya in his SALN, it might be his omission to state his full business interest. Let's wait for the defense turn.
I have a friend na RTC Judge in his 60's, he is not merely a judge but a businessman, sabi nya ng pabiro, pag namatay sya, yong mamanahin ng 2 anak nya is at least tig-20 million. Di ko na tinanong kung yong cash pa lang ba yon o lahat na ng assets nya.

nag-rally din kanina ang anti-corona sa harap ng senate. di na talaga maalis yang mga pro and anti na yan, just like nong erap and davide empeachment issues. Dito lang ata sa tsikot mas marami ang anti corona. take a look at the comments in yahoo news about corona's impeachment. Parang mas marami ata ang pro corona, tapos almost all justices, judges and court employees support him. Plus the IBP, Ateneo Law School and Iglesia ni Cristo. Kaya kung sakaling kumandidato sya sa pagka-senador next year, siguradong panalo yan.

In Philippine History, I think that we do not yet have an Impeachable officer who was found guilty by the impeachment court, hence, we do not have a jurisprudence where the Supreme Court review the decision of the former. However, I do believe that the Supreme Court can review the decision of the Impeachment Court based on Rule 65 of the Rules of Court in relation to Article VIII of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, because the impeachment Court is a quasi-judicial tribunal.
Section 1, Rule 65: Petition for certiorari. — When any tribunal, board or officer exercising judicial or quasi-judicial functions has acted without or in excess its or his jurisdiction, or with grave abuse of discretion amounting to lack or excess of jurisdiction, and there is no appeal, or any plain, speedy, and adequate remedy in the ordinary course of law, a person aggrieved thereby may file a verified petition in the proper court, alleging the facts with certainty and praying that judgment be rendered annulling or modifying the proceedings of such tribunal, board or officer, and granting such incidental reliefs as law and justice may require.

Well kahit mapa tunayan pa ng defense na legit ang source ng 31M bank deposit ni Corona which I doubt, he's still liable for not declaring it on his ITR and SALN.
Palusot ni Esguerra... Pera ba talaga ni CJ yan?
Dapat mag pakita ng ngipin ang senate next week in light of the development in the SC.
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
