And who told you that? You go to my Office to get Court clearance and you will get it within a few minutes if you don't have a pending/previous case. But if you're talking about the litigation, some litigants say that the court proceedings is like a crippled turtle, why? Because of due process and the technicalities that the law provides. Moreover, kunti lang ang mga abogado, ang daming kaso, 1 lang ang judge per court, at ang dami ngang vacant positions. That's why, Congress increased the compensation of justices and judges in terms of none-taxable allowances to encourage lawyers to join the judiciary. At dahil na rin sa New Salary Standardization Law, marami nang lawyers ang nagtatrabaho sa gov't. like the Judiciary, DOJ and PAO. It's not the Judiciary's fault kung ang litigants mismo or their lawyers/PAO/DOJ who are requesting for the postponement/resetting of their cases. Kaya natatagalan.

yong tanggalan lang sana nya eh yong sobra-sobra na ang allowances, o ipagpatuloy nya ang pag-monitor sa mga corrupt na opisyal ng gov't. hwag naman sanang tanggalin o bawasan ang allowances namin because just like those who are employed in the private sector, we should also enjoy the right against diminution of benefits. Actually, kulang pa nga, I don't have my own house and lot pa and I was just able to buy a 2nd hand 12 year old car, nag-loan pa ako. Salamat sa author ng New Salary Standardization Law, I think it was former Senator Angara, at least tumaas ang salary namin, salamat rin sa Justices ng Supreme Court, nabibigyan kami ng additional allowances thru En Banc resolution, unfortunately, di pa rin makaluwag kasi sa sobrang taas ng presyo ng bilihin ngayon.

you're right retz. Ang problema pa sa media, specially, a particular TV network, they keep on reiterating na taongbayan ang maghusga kay CJ o sa impeachment proceedings, they even invited a lady lawyer who also talked that way. Huh? Nabansagan tuloy silang biased media. It would seem that they are trying to influence the administration of justice through media publicity.

ang year end and mid-year bonus namin or any other allowance ay taxable if it exceeds 30K. Sa lahat ata yan even private company employees. Pero I know a private company which declares only half of monthly salary of their supervisory and managerial employees who are receiving above 30 K or even above 60 K.

tapos rarally-hin nila govt pag lumiit budget.

yes bro. lahat talaga ng gov't. offices ay may kanya-kanyang allowances na binibigay sa officers and employees nila, depende sa budget ng gov't agency. Pero in general, mas mataas pa rin ang compensation ng mga supervisory and managerial employees/CEOs ng private companies as compared to their counterpart who are working in the gov't; and this is the reason why the New Salary Standardization Law was passed, para naman makahabol ng konti ang mga officers ng gov't to their counterparts in the private sector.
