This can happen all over again. Precedence. A new president can always ask his allies in congress to impeach an SC justice he doesn't like.

OT. Kung ang members of the executive at judiciary ay pwedeng maalis by impeachment, paano maalis ang members ng senate at congress sa posisyon nila??? dati ko pa napapansin na parang untouchable ang congress.
i agree with you sir... pnoy should know better... dont do unto others what you dont want to do unto you...

Ah... Ramos... where he sold us out to the highest bidders in order to ensure adequate power supply.

Why are we paying through the noses for electricity (with some of the highest electric bills in the world)? Thank Ramos.

What's with that gigantic, useless edifice called Clark Expo? Thank Ramos.

Steady Eddie's main assets were his intense media-friendliness and the strong position he projected to the country, which kept the insurgents at bay. But to say that he was completely good for the economy... no.

I agree with the Congressman who resigned from the majority. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it. If PNoy and company don't play ball fairly, how will they be better than their opponents?

And the lurking, hidden danger here is... since this is all rushed, what if the impeachment complaint doesn't have enough merit to stand on its own? Will they allow a negative result to stand? Or will the hearing end up as a kangaroo court?

i'm not sure how credible the survey was, but last night, abs-cbn conducted a survey on who believes that it was right to impeach corona. . .91% favored
those surveys can easily be influenced...

we cant do anything about that. ganyan talaga sa congress. pag di ka sumama e tagilid ang pork barrel mo sa majority. ganyan din dati kay GMA. problema lang is katawa tawa talaga tayo sa mundong ito.
i for one yung people power ni erap e hilaw.
but i guess congress majority have a different plan for us.
nakakatakot nga.. if they can do it this once.. just because they think that they have the support of the public (against GMA)... media spin na lang yan... dyan din nagsimula yung Martial Law... may objective na suportado ng mga tao.. and yet where did it lead to?

btw, me nakita ko sa news kanina. another 2 SC justice will be impeach according to neil tupas. pano yung another 6, did they give in? it clearly shows their motive.

btw altis, in case maimpeach si corona at yung dalawa pa, si PNoy mag-aapoint ng papalit di ba? well we all know na dumidepende lang naman sya mga nakapaligid sa kanyang lawyers kung sino recomend.
yung pag gamit sa power to suit their objectives, malinaw pareho sila...

corrupt? how are we sure na hindi sila corrupt? media here has a big role in getting the truth out... but with a powerful media here na may utang na loob sa pamilya ng presidente... you think they will bring out stories that put the family of the president in a bad light (except for showbiz related)...

Si noynoy take advantage nya talaga pagiging sikat para tirahin si corona in public. Ang supreme court whether right or wrong sila ang may last say.

At yung lacierda talagang utak edsa.

Tandaan nyo 6 years lang presidency.
