hmmm... ASEAN countries have similar corruption perception levels (from transparency.org). Malaysia is the exception... borderlining on being "acceptable"

I've been to a lot of places. I was assigned in Nigeria (Abuja) once, for a couple of weeks, and I tell you, Philippines is PARADISE, compared to Nigeria!

    OT:

Yep, I can relate to what you are saying. Hindi nga ako naligo at nag-jerbs nung first two days.

"The Philippines is a rich nation trying hard to be poor." Can't exactly remember who said this line pero I agree with him. We have the best of everything, the brightest minds in politics and government included. Unfortunately, some minds are too bright that they are blinded by it and their selfish ambitions and vested interests. If only we can get our acts together, nothing is impossible for the Filipino. I believe in what we can do and achieve. It's never too late to start over again.

pinoys are not poor, well not all, me percentage pa din ng pinoy ang me kaya, sinasabi lang nila na ala silang pera as they compare themselves to other na mas madami pera, dun sa mga visitors siguro nga they went to urbanized places or if rural its not slum, ive done social works been at various places pati sa quezon yun ang sufferings, sa pinas i dont believe na mahirap, pero i believe humuhirap, dapat sama sama pinoy and do proper things kung me pansirili man konti lang sana, and i speak also to PGMA and other officials and rich people, pag mangurakot, yun tama lang wag sobra sobra
