we are slowly entering the plastic money-driven economy like the rest of the developed world. ako nga nagpapa-approve na din sa bangko ko ng credit card system eh, just to compete. kasi people nowadays don't bring large cash na.
for example, if you sell merchandise na may 10k, 15k, 50k and up. swertehan mo na kung makabenta ka ng isa kada isang-araw kung ala ka credit card, lalo na kung small biz ka lang.

the new E-VAT law states that the 12% VAT should be separate from the amount of sale. so in the case of restaurants, if the amount in the menu is VAT inclusive, ihihiwalay pa rin sa OR yung VAT. if the amount in the menu is exclusive of VAT, it should be clearly stated that an additional 12% VAT will be included in the total food bill. in other words, every OR should show how much VAT was paid.
