well, kung talagang totohanan ni lozada to save his soul (ika nga) isauli nya lahat ng kinurakot nya. Asus, pati asawa nakikinabang

Even if GMA resigns her post as president, it won’t really solve the root cause of corruption in this country. I’m not saying that the Arroyo administration should go scott-free. They should also be held responsible for any wrongdoing that they have committed, especially with the defunct ZTE-NBN deal. But we should also consider the possibility of putting a mechanism in place in strengthening the various institutions (such as the Ombudsman, DOJ, COA and the likes) that are tasked to curb corruption, both at the national and local level. Ousting a person, like GMA, won’t really bring about geniune change, but if we have a reformed and independent institutions, justice can be applied to anyone regardless of political affiliation, religious belief and background. Even if we install Jun Lozada as president but without strengthening our institutions that are suppose to safeguard our democratic rights, the same mistakes and errors may be committed by Jun Lozada (of course, knowing his corruption cases din sa Philforest and the strong nepotism). Sadly, Philippine politics has a very strong patron-client orientation.
