I'd vote for the man too. We need more senators who actually understand the Law but aren't there to screw the nation. Sayang wala na si Max Soliven.

He is a good man and he is clever enough to stay away from politics.
    Politics will corrupt him obsolutely!

True! If only we as the Filipino people actually realize it as ONE.

Here are, in outline, his 12 commandments:

This I do patiently and willfully despite everyones disregard. Specially the jeepney, bus, tricycle drivers, and most motorcyclist.

I regret to say I don't ask for any receipt whenever I buy something from small stores.

(Or, if you read the book, he suggests: 50-50).
I don't think I ever bought any smuggled goods yet, except for downloading movies for free over the internet instead of watching it at the movies. Sad to say, I don't watch any Filipino movies nor shows (except for news), it's quality is way below standards and I feel politicians use them as a stepping stone to attain positions in the government. Here in the Philippines ... politics mean popularity ... sadly there are more stupid Filipinos falling for it.

This is hard, since there is little stuff to speak positive about the Philippines. I tell them the truth, specially to my friends.

This I do, I respect everyone men, women, children, specially the old, and unfortunate ones found on the streets, I speak to them as if they are my equal and I never looked down at them in any way.

    Segregate. Recycle. Conserve.
This I follow strictly. I hate seeing teachers themselves throw candy wrappers on the street, as I was riding in a passenger jeep a few months ago. I even got an earful from her after I said to her ... "Is that what you teach your students, to throw garbage off a passenger jeep onto the streets?" I got a solid "P.I. mo!" word from her, and this is the person who educates your kids at school.

SORRY! I don't believe in our church. I am raised as a catholic, but with education...comes realization.

I have no employees yet, but I intend to do so. I also believe in treating maids as friends and co-workers, not like most old fashioned Filipinos who thinks maids are subservient to them. I hate those type of people.

I pay my taxes on time to the best of my knowledge.

As of now I don't have the financial means to do so, but I give when I can. Last week at SM North EDSA food court, two children were asking for "pamasko"...I told them I would rather buy them food than give them money. So I bought them 2 happy meals.

That is the key! ALL OF US TOGETHER AS ONE!

Long before he became a candidate for the senate, I personally met Alex Lacson in one of his speaking engagements sometime in 2005 as he was invited by our company to talk in the areas of leadership. The man truly walks the talk of helping his fellow countrymen. Other than just talking we are voting for him, I suggest we campaign for him. He does not have the coffers of the rich and the popularity of TV fixture. What we should do is share his wisdom to our family and friends. Forward e-mails and echo his words. Volunteerism can work if we join hands. It's not for Alex Lacson, it's for this country and the future generation.

Never mind that he does not know us but it will benefit the Philippines to see a new face with a clear conscience working for a better Philippines in the halls of the Senate.

    Let's start here...http://alexlacson.net/pinoyalexlacso...good-senator-2

(I do not vouch for the rest of the candidates of the Liberal Party, only Alex Lacson)
