Erap won't comment on presidential count
MANILA, Philippines - Former President Joseph Estrada has holed up in his Polk Street residence in Greenhills, San Juan City as he continued to avoid making comments on the Commission on Elections' (Comelec) partial tally on the presidential race.
"Wala munang interview ngayon," Estrada told ABS-CBN News correspondent Sheryll Mundo in a phone interview.
Reached for comment, Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino spokesman Ralph Calinisan gave ABS-CBN News the same answer.
Estrada also avoided the media when his ailing mother, Doña Mary Ejercito, died early last year.
The former president is behind front runner Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III by around 5 million votes based on the Comelec's partial tally with nearly 90% of precincts accounted for.
However, Estrada has refused to concede to Aquino.
The former president said he will only accept defeat if Aquino is proclaimed by the new Congress. – Report from Sheryll Mundo, ABS-CBN News.

May 13th, 2010 03:15 PM #33just wondering...
same bobo people who voted for the undesirables may have elected the president and his vice. do we have a double standard here? we brand the voters as bobo because of the senators, congressmen, etc. (and even erap) when the same set of voters voted noynoy. i thought only the gordon supporters (and later on the gibo's) were "discriminating" against the "bobo" voters due to the way their logic in voting were organized.
tsk tsk ... ano ba talaga mga kuya?

May 13th, 2010 04:06 PM #34though branding other people as bobo when their thinking doesnt jibe with their thinking is in no way agreeable, i understand the frustration most people feel on eraps case, getting jueteng money in malacañang, being jose velarde, numerous mistresses etc. and a lot of people still see him fit to lead our country. well thats the essence of democracy, ask ko nga byenan ko bakit nya ibinoto kasi daw magaling na actor and always says what they want to hear, haynakupo doesnt care if he *bleep* up the country for a lot of years if he wins.

Estrada camp won’t concede polls, to raise poll ‘irregularities’
http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakin...irregularities
MANILA, Philippines—Even as other presidential candidates have conceded the elections to Senator Benigno “Aquino III, the lawyer of former president Joseph Estrada is set to raise “irregularities” on the recent automated elections when Congress convenes on May 31 to canvass the votes for president and vice president.
In an interview with reporters at the Commission on Elections Command Center Thursday, lawyer George Garcia said he and fellow lawyers in the Estrada camp are busy preparing and gathering witnesses, documents, and other evidence that will prove that irregularities occurred in the first nationally automated elections.
In Masbate for instance, Garcia said, the random manual audit conducted in some precincts in the province did not tally with the results of the automation.
There were also reported irregularities in San Juan city, which is considered Estrada’s turf.
Asked if the discrepancy between the automated count and the manual count could have been caused by human error, Garcia said, “It’s the flash cards.”
However, Garcia did not elaborate, saying all evidence would be presented before Congress in due time.
Despite the problems raised, Garcia said there should be a new president by June 30.
Meanwhile, Garcia said, he and his client found it hard to believe that Estrada was trailing by over 5 million votes behind frontrunner presidential bet Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, according to various partial, unofficial results.
“Are these the genuine results? Are they credible?” Garcia said.
Nevertheless, he said that Estrada would not concede. He said things are hoped to turn out better for the former president when Congress starts canvassing votes.

^^ agree on Erap
that's what im pointing before. kung may bad record na, wag nang bigyan ng another chance. future ng country natin ang pinag-uusapan dito. although sinasabi nung iba dyan na marami siang nagawa etc, etc...
bakit pa kasi bumoboto ang mga Pinoy ng taong walang Palabra de honor (talksh!t)? from the start pa lang, wala na siyang credibility. nung binigyan siya ng pardon, he stated na he won't run as a President AGAIN. pero anong nangyari? his reasons na hindi niya mapagkaisa ang oposisyon is not suffice.
just my penny.

May 10 elections na-‘hokus PCOS’ – Erap camp
http://www.gmanews.tv/eleksyon2010/s...pcos-erap-camp
There were brokers who approached us, but as to where these people come from or who they represent, I cannot yet tell right now," ayon kay Maceda na binansagan noon sa Senado na “Mr Expose’.
