November 14th, 2007 06:54 AM #22....unless na buhay ka as an adult during the martial law days.... you don't know how it was it to live under martial law.
the oppositions or well-known anti-gov't are not in favor with martial law because they know kung papaano ang buhay nuon under martial rule.
sige i'll dare anyone to say the same "...only the oppositions are afraid of such thing (martial law)" once naibalik ang martial law sa atin....

di naman sana... i've read a book yung Dekada 70, naawa ako dun sa mga characters...
pero advise ko sa mga politiko natin. magbago na sila. tama na muna ang corruption. bayan muna ang asikasuhin nila...

A Glimpse of Martial Law in the 70's:
- Military imposed curfew
- Large-scale warrantless arrests of opposition leaders and leaders of public demonstrations
- Unabated killings of FM's political opponents
- Military personnel's abuse of authority by bullying/extorting from ordinary citizens
I'd like to hear from anyone here who likes to experience that.

November 29th, 2007 09:27 PM #29sir medyo mababaw na pananaw po yan sa tunay na martial law.
ang tunay na "martial law babies" ay yung mga teenager-to-adult na during the implementation. sila kasi yung nakaramdam na ma-hustle ng implementasyon nito.
at kahit pinanganak ka nung 70's hindi mo yun naramdaman kasi you grew-up never knowing how was it ng walang martial law.
so sa mind imprint ng hindi alam...they would think the same way as what you think -never had a bad experience sa martial noon.takot lang naman dyan mga bisnes man na anti pandak at mga labor leaders etc etc.isa lang naman kasi kailangan gawin ng nasa palasyo e,

di din siguro.ala sa family namin naka experience nyan.normal bisnes padin ang nanay at tatay ko ng time nayan kaya sorry nalang sa mga nagkaron ng bad experience sa martial law.ala kasi me nadinig na bad comments from my parents nor sa community namin kaya ganyan pananaw ko dyan.kasi kung talagang masama yan, sa buong community meron at meron akong maririnig na nagreklamo ng time na yon.till now kahit yong mga 80yrs old na ala din silan marekol na bad memories pertaining sa martial law e.anyways, kanya kanyang experience lang naman yan e.nagkataon lang na di namin naransan yong bad effect
Eh ngayon BBM has just ordered the suspension of the fining of ebikes and calls for a grace period...
