When the masses can no longer afford to buy food, there will be chaos in the streets. There will be riots. There will be anarchy.

    That's more my concern now.

The environmental impact will be felt later.

If people start killing each other for food, climate change won't be your concern.

    Your concern will be survival.

i dont know about this. but i'd say people on one part of the world will kill for food but people from another part will have abundance on food. bec. of the impending climate change, mag-shift lang naman ang dubbed as land of milk and honey.

I say it's Africa and the Middle East. They will be the world's future super powers bec. food and water will be readily available na for their people. like all things being equal, Africa has endured countless sufferings already being a cursed land while the counterpart continent America is thriving. mag-palit lang sa tingin ko.

what we are witnessing right now sa world events is sort of transitionary period for the new world. it could mean a new war may erupt again before this happens. pero sa tingin talagang delikado ang signs of the times, if livestocks/crops are dying/becoming hard to produce on our part of the world then yan na nga ang epekto ng global warming/climate change. the riots/scarcity of food resources that will happen will just be a bonus for the transition period kasi nature does not need kill people anymore by way of freak nature events. we will literally kill each other for food and resources.

and again, like all things being equal maybe nature will present a solution for this naman. since depleted na ang middle east ng energy, puwede na sila mag-crops. tayo naman (America/Asia) na taken for granted ang rich soil, baka puwede naman mag-produce ng energy.

so it's simply like this, taken for granted ng arabo ang langis bec. they have abudance of oil there, pero ginto naman ang presyo ng tubig at pagkain sa kanila. in the next world, taken for granted naman nila ang crops, while sa'tin ginto para makabili ka ng pagkain.

mababaligtad lang ... too bad nga lang yun transition period ay maraming di makakaintindi so it will or it may result to war first.

The major food crops (corn, wheat, soy, rice...) are commodities that are priced and traded on commodities exchanges in the US and Europe.

So even if a poor country manages to produce a lot of those crops, their people still go hungry coz the prices are too high.

In this world... in this system, the guys with the gold make the rules.

The Anglo-Americans dont care if climate change make their homelands incapable of producing any food.

They can always take food from countries that produce them.

If those countries wont give what the Anglo-Americans want, they will be invaded.

    That's the way it is.

So no matter how the climate changes, no matter who ends up producing the food...

The Anglo-Americans will use their military power to secure for themselves what they want.

the cream of the crop of the US are now building their noah's ark in Dubai. mayroon na din trump tower dun sa dubai. it's also surprising to know that most buildings that are built in dubai are all-weather meaning puwede sa snow, sa hurricane, sa autumn and hard rain etc..

now why the heck would these people spend more to make their bldgs all weather proof. puwede naman pang anti heat or anti sand lang. The Americans know something. Bush is also very busy building the oil pipeline from Middle East to upper Russia and also making sure that the US will control the pipeline. now why is it that the Americans are so concerned of the oil pipeline that will supply middle east, afghanistan, kazhkastan then the rest of russia.

something is brewing in the atmosphere ...

we should all be ready. to those people leaving on the pacific side of our country, be very very vigilant and also those living near the laguna lake. i have already seen footages of some islands in the south pacific, island countries that now looks like malabon. their smaller islands have been swallowed by the ocean na.

Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc are spending billions and billions of dollars building shiny new cities in the desert coz they know their oil will run out and they better be holding on to hard assets once the oil dollars stop coming in.

Brand new cities in the sand, the tallest buildings... those will be their assets when oil revenue slows down.

They also have to spend their dollar earnings as fast as they can coz keeping dollars in the bank and watching the value go down is totally unwise.

They're not planning for massive climate change..

They're just doing what anyone who is making hundreds of millions of dollars a day is doing...

    Spending.
