i always insist on paying the max (kasi nga wala naman akong income tax, ofw e), pero sa barangay ayaw nila. sinasabihan ako, kahit yung barangay captain, huwag daw i-declare lahat

so ginagawa ko 2x ako nagbabayad, 1 sa QC, 1 sa hometown ko, hati.

minsan sabay kami kumuha ng cedula ni misis. yun, 60% sa akin 40% sa kanya. para may income siya

That's true! Even when you try to use it as an ID nobody will accept it.

Funny thing about it was During the Middle Ages, Serfs only paid 10% tax. If the ruler raised it any higher, they will rebel and put the monarch's head in a guillotine/stock/chopping block.

Looking the way things are now is just depressing.
