Dito sa atin,- ibinubulsa,- ibinigay sa asawa, kabit, anak,- pinang-sa-shopping sa ibang bansa, pina-pambili ng properties sa ibang bansa,- inilalagay sa dollar accounts sa ibang bansa....

Very easy to be prosperous if your country has billions of barrels of oil.
Autocracy only works if the autocrat is benevolent. If he isn't, it doesn't. It's that simple. Binary government, either good or bad.
A democracy is flawed. A democratically elected leader will often not be the best leader. Because the traits that make for an electable candidate aren't always the traits you want. To get elected, a candidate often has to be very, very good at lying, and good at saying what people want to hear, even if it's not the right thing to say. But despite how stupid most voters can be, a democracy can elect the right leader maybe 60% of the time... and those with the ability to get elected are at least better than average.
So... the 60% leader all the time or alternating between the 100% and 0% leader every twenty years? Hmmm...
