their govt couldnt care less about the happiness and fulfiment of their individual citizens. di naman America yan eh

sa US it's about individuals pursuing their own happiness. individualistic ang mga Kano. it's always about what an individual can achieve

in China it's about the collective. they're like the Borg. they work as a group to fulfill an end-goal. it's not about individual achievement. individuals are dispensable, easily replaced. they got 1.3 billion of them. what's important to them is what the country can achieve as a whole

China's goal is to build a strong nation

ang Pinas hindi. ang pinoy puro personal achievement. celebrating individual achievement. everyone's seeking personal glory. sa Pinas it's all about personalities. Pacquiao. Charice. Vice Ganda. Not about the country

sa China it's about China did this China did that. China built this China built that. no single individual gets the credit

ang pinoy it's always family muna, sarili muna. meron ba pinoy willing to sacrifice personal happiness for the greater good of the country?

eh kaya nga so don't question us. yan ang gusto nila eh, kami masaya sa noontimes shows, kami masaya pag every sunday nag-mi-meet ang pinaguusapan personalities o yun recent sapakan sa naia III. it's what makes us Filipinos.

we are like America bec. we are Americanized. we love Americans bec. they tend to live happier/fruitful lives. hindi pera ang diyos namin. pera is just one tool to be happy. when we say family muna, we sacrifice our happiness for a loved one. the greater good of our country is happening right now, as we speak bec. we are a happy fun loving nation even if we don't have the best of the worlds.

dun pa nga lang dapat magtaka ka an eh, bakit ang happy happy namin kahit walang-wala? napakahirap kung ang basis ng happiness mo eh to achieve something.

and regarding our view as Catholics, God does not measure us through the amount of wealth that we have accumulated. yun mga nagsasabi nun, yun ang mga lost sheperd. why would God favor those who amassed wealth eh sa kanya naman kaya yun, ginawa nya yun, tapos pag namatay kami ipagmamayabang namin na Hi God! etong naipundar ko oh. that doesn't mean **** to him, bec. sa kanya naman galing yun in the first place eh.

We are all stewards of wealth in this earth. - ang ibig sabihin nun pag na-swertehan ka ng wealth - pagyamanin by means of improving yourself, your loved ones/friends, and your society. that's the same as cashflow, bec. hindi mo pinagtatagal ang pera sa bulsa mo. kung ang pera hino-hoard lang lagi para sa apo sa kuko, and not being used sa present, yan talaga ang ibabanat sayo ng nature, sakit, sakuna, malas, emptyness etc.

mas gusto ko na mabuhay katulad ng mga kapwa ko Pinoy na parang gulong bec. that's how life teaches us. the ups and downs, strength becomes addiction becomes failure becomes weakness then becomes renewed strength. no greater joy there is than the joy derived from struggle.

remember this *uls, i'm sharing you a very impt. lesson in life. wag ka masyado stiff like kelangan lahat functional, systematic, at kelangan lagi amass ng wealth or planado for you to have a meaningful life. Plans are short-term, spontaneity makes you alive, makes your heart pump better

people do it coz they enjoy doing it. it's where they get their kicks. it's what gives them a rush. it's sooooo NOT about trying to please God. what gave you that idea?

their accumulation of money isnt for buying lots of stuff. they hardly ever spend it. it's just there existing in banks' hard drives. it's points dude. like a video game. those are just numbers. points. it's not about what you can buy with it
