Humihirit na naman si Enrile. Enrile is still bitter he didn't become president after the EDSA revolt and was shunted aside by Noynoy's mother Cory.

Noynoy should be very careful regarding this bitter old man.

There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents a President-Elect from taking oath from a Baranggay Captain. Even the place where the oath should be taken is purely traditional.

    OT
Expect Enrile to lose the senate presidency as soon as congress convenes again.

Villar has the numbers but if I were him, I'd stay away from the limelight. Let someone else have the seat and clear his name for him if there is anything to be cleared. My guess is that he will field in an ally senior senator to fill in the position.

It would really be a big insult for Corona. Sadly, nawala na talaga sa bokabularyo ng Phil Politics ang DELIKADESA.
Agree there bro... Sadly, pati mga Justices natin, sa opinyon ng marami, ay may bahid na rin ng "corruption" at politika... Dapat, malinis din ang bahay na ito.... Ang kaso, until retirement na ang term ng mga nasa Korte....

We'll know just how independent Corona is after Pandak has been charged.

Kung umabot sa SC yung kaso niya, Corona must inhibit himself. If he doesn't, then I can safely conclude na yun talaga ang game plan ni Pandak to squirrel away yung mga ninakaw niya. A CJ may be just one vote in a collegial body like the SC, but a good CJ wields tremendous influence over his peers.

Only Corona? AFAIK all of the SC justices are now Arroyo appointees!
