having his father pa in the same senate leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

father comes to the rescue... comes up with a story that the comelec chair & zubiri's parents allegedly had dinner together. zubiri challenged pimentel sr. to publicly apologize if he cannot prove his allegation - otherwise if the allegation is true then zubiri would withdraw from the senatorial race.

when it was learned that the comelec chair & the zubiri couple only chatted for a while coming from the restroom, pimentel sr. still insisted that it is not appropriate to small talk with the parents of a candidate (the chairman was eating in another resto & the zubiris were celebrating their wedding anniversary and only chanced upon each other).

they should just wait for the counts to be finished.

si nene pimentel?nagtampo at nagalit kay gloria dahil bakit daw tinatabi lang sya noon,nangawit daw sya sa kakahawak ng mic during ate glo's proclamation after the people deposed erap. si koko? sabi nya ala daw sya ebidensya kaya na-turn down petition nya for TRO.haaaaayy, mga tao nga naman

AFAIK, hindi sya Darna. His wife was a former beauty queen, Jewel May Lobaton.

Re: the incident between Abalos and Zubiri, this only shows poor judgement on the part of the Comelec chairman. On-going pa kasi ang bilangan, so he should have excused himself out of delicadeza. He should hold himself to the highest standards mandated by his office. Masama kasi talaga ang dating, kahit saang anggulo mo tingnan. Since the Zubiris are well-bred naman and educated, they would understand. Public officials should hold the consitutional tenet that "Public office is a public trust" sacrosanct.

Parang hindi na natuto tong si Abalos dun sa Garci scandal. IMO, he is the worst chairman ever. Andaming scandals during his watch!
