americans being less greedy and less corrupt is just an effect of their love for their country. americans have a deep sense of patriotism, unlike filipinos who don't mind spitting and pissing on their streets and throwing trash out of their cars!
notice how integrity is not an issue during american elections? kasi halos lahat ng tumatakbo meron non! dito, wala ng plataporma, wala pang integridad!

Our problem is rooted to our apathy, corrupt Churches such as the roman catholic church* controlling our govt since the time of Jose Rizal, and of course, foreign and personal interests of people in seat of power.*

They just have a lot more 'resources', relatively that is, than what we have....
It's the same for everyone who were nurtured by the same (yellow) sun...

greed is part of a human personality. hindi natin maalis yan. lahat tayo may greed, the difference eh ang level or tolerance natin.
corruption is part of the society. kahit saan ka magpunta, kahit saang bansa, meron niyan. also, ang difference eh ang level and tolerance.
comparing america to philippines, nasasbi lang na mas corrupt tayo kasi lantaran ang corruption and greediness sa atin bansa. observe ninyo eto. also kung nasa america man tayo, makikita rin natin ang level of greediness and corruption sa kanila. maybe thats the time na icompare natin ang level and tolerance.
just my thought, some countries manage to level down these two negative traits of a country. hindi yan naaalis, nagagawa lang mababa o iminimize ang level.
