If it's any comfort to those in the Philippines, the number of junkets here dwarfs those in the Philippines (especially during the Reagan era). The leeches here are better at covering it up. We put up with it only because the officials here actually manage to get work done.

Sorry for the stupid question but how does the president travel anyway? Does the Philippine government have its own version of Airforce One? Does she take regular first class flights? Or does she charter a plane?

^^ GMA's returning from her "US working visit" tomorrow morning via PAL together with its regular passengers. For sure she's traveling 1st class, but no version of Air Force One for her.

btw peeps, kasabay ko itong si GMA and mga galamay nya papuntang states. and marami silang tinamaan na pasahero. iyong mga nagreserve na ng seats so many months ago inagaw nila. Daming galit na pasahero!
