Did you know that workers and residents inside the Hacienda have free hospitalization? Actually that was before, they had their own hospital inside, pero wala na ngayon. They're just being given referrals to doctors. Nalugi na kasi ang Hacienda because of these strikes.

The Agrarian Reform is actually a big failure. Yung mga nabigyan ng lots through this law, binebenta lang nila just to get a quick cash.

eto yung nakakatawa. Very pro GMA si Cory and Kris noon but, nung kinampihan ni GMA yung mga magsasaka sa Luisita ay biglang anti GMA na sila.

1. Issue on Pro-GMA: Cory was pro-constitution, respecting the line of succession, i.e. office of VP when Erap was removed. Cory joined the calls for Gloria resign when Hello Garci blew up, along w/ other mounting issues like cha-cha, ZTE, etc. Hindi bigla ang pagkontra ni Cory. There was a slow, deliberate build up. Pati iba't ibang sektor tulad ng business at mga dating ka-alyado ni GMA kumontra na rin dahil sa mga isyung yaon. Kaya lang nilabas muli ng kampo ni GMA ang Luisita dahil sa pagkontra ni Cory sa kanya.

2. Luisita: The welga started as a demand for CBA. Pinasukan ng maka-kaliwang sektor kaya na-agitate at naging bayolente. What started as a business negotiation elevated into a political issue. Leftists were disappointed about CARP and took it out on Cory. Reality check: Aquino family (Cory's side) owns only 4% of the corp. In that business set-up, the family influence would be minimal.
