1. Original Hyundai silver (not sure if they used Solarized Silver like Ssangyong/Daewoo). Para mukhang factory paint (not repainted look).
2. Subjective. Highly dependent on human skill. Both can be applied well enough by trained persons.
3. Ok lang liha so you don't lose factory corrosion protection. Kung may rust through sections, palitan niyo ng bagong lata and use anti corrosion protection during prep.
4. Orange peel is bad paint. Parang balat ng orange.
5. Prep using the prep products intended for the finishing products to be used. Disassemble instead of masking. You should also regularly visit the vehicle to keep tabs on the work being done.

Yes, yung sa Mazda nga. Yun yung sinabi ko na gusto kong kulay (shucks pumunta pa ako sa Mazda para lang manghingi ng brochure nila na may color sample blocks!) pero hindi naman nasunod. Pero OK na rin na hindi masyadong nasunod kasi mas nagustuhan ko yung kinalabasan. Hehe.

for budget repainting-- ano mas ok? Nippon or 2k? i saw a couple of shops which use 2k exclusively and mukhang ok yung finish, pero nippon has brand recognition

thanks sa suggestion chief... i just found out kung anong 2k paint yung gagamitin > akzo nobel sikkens daw.... mukhang ok naman yung reviews online so I'll stick with it for now....
baka kasi 1 yr ko na lang i-maintain yung oto ko, next year balak na mag-invest on a brand new one

Kung ibebenta mo rin lang next year ang sasakyan mo, R&M ay ok na.
OK yung Sikkens pero sobrang mahal (doble ng Anzahl).
